Ashley Zehnder – Swim Safety Expert

Ashley Zehnder is an experienced swimmer who began swimming at the age of five. She competed for her high school team and began coaching swimming while she was a student at Kent State University. She is a certified professional lifeguard, a lifeguard instructor, a water safety instructor, and a CPR-rescue professional. She has also undergone a number of first aid courses designed around water and swimming pool safety. She is certified first aid, blood borne pathogens, automated external defibrillators, and in administering oxygen.

Ashley Zehnder coached at Clearfork Swim Club in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, she became a Kent State Masters Swim Coach and did that until 2012 during her time as a student at Kent State University. She currently lives in Houston, Texas with her fiancé. She works as a server in the local area and still loves to swim. She has aspirations to one day work as a civil engineer, in the animal conservation industry, or in the environmental conservation industry.
